We're Changing Hands, a Community Interest Company raising funds and promoting initiatives to serve the people who need them most. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in the lives of others.
WHO WE ARE
Our Roots
Here at Changing Hands CIC, we know that sometimes all it takes to make a change is a little support. We founded in 2020 in the middle of the COVID pandemic to try and provide some help in the local community to those in need.

We're a Community Interest Company, not a charity shop. That means we exist purely for the Woodhouse community as a non-profit hub to help our local area.
WAYS WE HELP
SHOP
Changing Hands is primarily a shop and community hub. We sell new and used items, antiques and collectibles, bric a brac and locally made products to raise money to fund our other initiatives.
We accept donations so please contact us if you would like to donate.

COMMUNITY HUB
We want to be a place where people can drop in for a chat so we can find out what is needed in the area and what help we can give. We have a member of staff trained in Mental Health Awareness who can offer advice and support. Feel free to come in and say hello to us and our dog Molly!

FOOD DONATION
We aim to help those people who may not be eligible to use Food Banks, those who just need a little short term help. We source and accept food donations and distribute them to those in need.

PERIOD POVERTY
This initiative is something we feel very strongly about, we believe that all women should have access to sanitary products and we offer them free to everyone who needs them.

COMMUNITY GARDEN
One of our first initiatives was to gain permission to take over a small area of garden near the shop. Our aim is to develop this garden as a community area where people can become involved in it's upkeep and provide a nice area for the community.
